Album: YUCATAN BIRDING--SANTA MARIA LODGE A HIGHLIGHT OF THIS TRIP was our stay at the new Santa Maria Lodge, which is 1.5 hours northwest of Cancun on a new wildlife reserve. It is magnificent in three ways: fantastic birding (125 species in 2 days), excellent food (reminded us of Oaxaca) and stunning accommodations, as the pictures herein illustrate!
